Integrated Design

As a fully integrated program, T&M-DDP students study both engineering or biotechnology and business courses each year. The curriculum requires 175 – 192 credits for completion compared to 120 credits for a single degree program. The additional workload is about one to two course(s) per semester. The workload is challenging but the rewards are great.

T&M-DDP students graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). For BEng, students choose among ten engineering disciplines. For BSc, students must take Biotechnology major. For BBA, students must take General Business Management as the major. They can take fundamental business courses in accounting, economics, finance, marketing and management, and choose elective courses among these disciplines.

Integration and Function

In addition, T&M-DDP students take courses in Management of Technology, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics, Social Science and Humanities, English and Chinese Business Communication, Academic and Professional Development, among others, to deepen awareness of how the world works and boost critical thinking skills.
